COPY EDITING
Copy editing isn't just about the Oxford comma, it's also about clarity, consistency, and matching the style of the original text. My experiences focuses on texts translated from another language into English. Here are some of my projects.

MEETING OF SHOAH SURVIVORS
This book documents the stories of Holocaust survivors who live in the Ohel David home for the elderly in Slovakia. These oral histories of the experience of being Jewish in Slovakia during WWII are devistating and moving, and I had the honor (and I mean that sincerely) of copy-editing the text after it was translated into English from Slovak. YOUNG TRANSLATIONS LLC
The bulk of my copy editing has been as a contractor for Young Translations, an ISO 17100-certified firm that specializes in German-to-English translation for businesses. Mag. Trisha Kovacic-Young, a fellow New Yorker, established the firm in 2008, and was kind enough to give me this recommendation.
CIGAR JOURNAL
Copy-editing for the Cigar Journal is a newer project, but a very fun one! If you are an aficionado, visit their website here!
